Purple Dragon Martini Recipe
Oh good grief this drink looks amazing and it’s sure to bring a big ole smile to your face!! I tried it and it is delicious! I couldn’t exactly get it to the bright purple you see in the photo though…
Ingredients:
3oz vodka
1 1/2oz cranberry juice (I used some with grape to help with the purple color)
1/2oz blue Curacao liqueur
1/2oz sweet and sour mix
1/2oz of 7-Up
2-3 ice cubes
Directions
Mix all ingredients in blender or food processor for 20 to 30 seconds on high speed.
Salt the rim of your martini glass
Pour and Enjoy
I was able to change up the recipe a bit with Grenadine, Blue Curacao and melon/apple schnapps and it does turn purple but not as bright. I tend to think the photo above has a back lite purple light to help give it that color.
You won’t be disappointed though because it taste amazing!!!
Found another page from a bartender and the added 1 1/2oz of strawberry pucker and achieved the color so gonna try that tomorrow for our cookout
